Google review collection

Save your Google Business review URL once, and CoPortal will email a tap-to-review link to your client when their project hits complete. Available on Studio plans and up.

One-time setup

Open Settings → Google reviews. Paste your Google Business review URL — the short link Google gives you that takes a customer straight to the “leave a review” screen for your business.

If you don't have one yet:

  • Search your business name on Google Maps and select your listing
  • Click ShareEmbed a map is wrong — instead use the Get more reviews shortcut from the Google Business Profile dashboard
  • Or just copy the URL of your business profile and append ?placeid=...&s=write — the Google Business dashboard shows the exact link to use

What gets sent

When a project moves to Complete, CoPortal queues a follow-up email to the client. The email arrives from your verified workspace sender (or noreply@coportal.io if you haven't verified one) and includes a friendly “leave a review” button linking to your Google URL.

Tip: Pair this with the automations “client feedback” recipe to also send your in-portal star feedback request before the Google one — collect private feedback first, public reviews second.

Auto-send vs manual

Toggle auto-send on or off in the same settings tab. With it off, you can still send a Google review email on demand from the project page. With it on, every completed project triggers the email automatically.

Where it shows up in Automations

The Google review email is also visible as a built-in CoPortal recipe in your Automations list, so you can see it alongside your other workflows. You can't edit the recipe but you can disable auto-send from there.
